Half of San Diego State's division is in there (Hawaii, San Jose State, and Nevada). It's a miracle UNLV isn't on there too. They lost to HOWARD. Not sure if it was the Duck or the Bison but not sure that matters.

I guess my question here is why the fascination with Fornelli?

Comparing his "bottom 25" to the composite of over 100 rankings he has some REAL outliers - UNC is 20 spots off, others are 10 or more. I know his formula has had other oddities in the past, severely under-rating Navy relative to the established data-driven rankings.

Yeah, having 4 teams in the bottom 25 will not help the TV contract negotiations.

Cincy's bottoming out, unfortunately. Tulsa and UConn aren't having good years either. (Yes, I know Tulsa beat the Coogs this year. We played up to teams who should beat us and played down to teams we should beat this year. No other way to describe it. That said, I thought Tulsa's season would turn around after they beat us. Boy, was I ever wrong.) ECU, sadly, is just bad. (Sorry, Pirates. I thought you were going to be good enough to make a bowl this year. Y'all need to make one soon.) All I can say is get your crap together next year.
