Denver All-Star forward Paul Millsap will undergo surgery on his left wrist and be sidelined indefinitely, league sources say.

Utah and the Clippers also picked in our tier or above us, and they both are struggling. We need to right the ship, get the back from injury guys like JMyke and BMac playing close to 100%, get Brandan and Selden playing, and we'll be ok. Then, get Mike back in a few more weeks, and see what happens.

Even with Millsap's injury, not convinced we are better than Denver, they are really deep. Wilson Chandler might start for the Grizz and he was struggling to crack Denver's rotation before injuries. Same with Kenneth Faried. They have 4 young guards (Murray, Harris, Barton, and Mudiay) that they can rotate and all are legit NBA players. Trey Liles is at the end of their bench, but could get considerable playing time on a lot of squads.

... and it's not like they are top 4 in the West ...

RE: 2-8 in our last 10
Have liked Denver's young talent, but at some point they need to win.

Would have loved to have Wilson Chandler 3 years ago, but he has faded, IMO. Averaging under 10 ppg, 10.6 PER, 31% from three, average at best defendor. And he has started every game this year, so not sure your point about the cracking the rotation. And Faried is what his is. Been on the trading block for 2 years. Anyone who wants to take on his contract can have him. A 4 who can't shoot just doesn't fit in today's NBA.

But their young talent - Jokic, Harris, Murray, is better than our young talent.

Can't believe we were up by 17 at the half then lose by 1 to the mavs....sad. Without Conley, we're struggling. Will the Grizz make the playoffs? I wonder...

Never said that. But if I did, it'd be to go to the settings page and turn injuries to 'off'.

It’s not looking good. Conley is constantly injured. He’s old for his age imo. Gasol is the same way. Tyreke is gonna be gone at the end of the season. They can’t afford to pay him. The rest are just borderline nba players except for maybe Parsons. And he will probably get hurt again. I think the run is over.

Wow, how many trash teams can you lose to? The Nets, at home? Seriously? Did something happen to Gasol? He didn't play in the 4th when we could've mounted a comeback?

When you lose to every bottom feeder, at some point you have to realize you are a bottom feeder.

When do we start looking at the coach’s role in this losing streak?

We’ve blown 5 double digit leads at home - all of which resulted in an L. May not be popular because of his “social” life but he is struggling at his real job, badly.

Tyreke is the second best player on the team, he was great when he was leading the second unit, but now that Conley is out, that's a huge hit, and now the second unit is not the strength that it was . The talent is simply not there.

I do have to wonder though, I didn't get to watch the game ... Parsons crushed in the first quarter and then didn't play ... did he get hurt? and what happened with Gasol in the 4th, the game was winnable and he didn't see the floor ...

Really frustrated ... but I agree Fizz is struggling right now.

Parsons has a tight knee and Gasol was benched.

LOL. Parsons always has a tight knee.

Solid move, benching your best player in crunch time. I guess he's trying to send a message.

Well the schedule gets way rougher .. B2B with the Spurs, who are already way better than the Grizz and getting healthier, then the Cavs, then the TWolves @ home, Knicks on the road, Raptors, Thunder and Heat at home, @ Washington, and home for the lowly Hawks.

Doubt the Grizz are favored in any of those games before Atlanta comes to town, maybe a slight favorite over the Heat, but probably not.

Of course, if Conley comes back healthy, it changes the equation, but right now ... sheesh ... lose them all and get the most freaking ping pong balls.

Pull the plug. Jump in on the Marvin Bagley sweepstakes (or whoever ends up being in the top of the draft).

This team has essentially no young talent. Marc and Mike won’t be getting any younger or more athletic. And we definitely aren’t grabbing any solid free agents. We knew this day would come. We’re going to have to get better through the draft now.
