Exclamation Game Day: BG (Senior Day)
Later today the 2017 EMU football season will end. I will say this was one of the most exciting EMU FB seasons I can remember in the last 25 years. Could be heartbreaking but the games were rarely unexciting and we were never on the short end of a rout.

I hope Roback throws for say 4 TDs, spreading them out among his senior receivers. And if he wants to throw an extra one to Bailey, I'm fine with that.

Steve,

Nice refreshing statement in your thread hoping Roback throws TDs not INTs. Hopefully we have success running the ball like last game which opens up the pass game and vice versa.

Go Eagles!!!

This doesn't bother me and I'll say why:

ESPN does games and farms out games to CBS SN and does ESPN3.

So they do what we'd expect of any sports and entertainment company, they put the games into tiers based on desirability. Most attractive match ups get the best channel and the worst match ups get the worst channel (ESPN3).

So in this case the failure is of EMU and BG not to have winning records.

If next season we are 8 - 2 and playing saying a 7 - 3 team late in the season, that game most likely would be ESPN2.

On the radio pregame, Sheppard says that with a win tonight we'd have 12 wins over the past two seasons. That would be our best two-season stretch since 1988-89.

That's remarkable when you think about it.

Nice response by special teams in return and offense.

Come in D, we must win this game for seniors, for pride, for recruiting and because winning is not everything, it's the only thing!

Roback reminds me of the old saying about the little girl with curls:

When he's good he'll really good, but when he's bad he's really bad...

He makes really good plays and really bad plays.

Anybody remember Geno Guidulli from Cincinnati. Roback is his clone.
