RE: Conyers (D-MI) Steps Down From House Judiciary Cmte Amid Slush Fund/Sex Abuse Scandal
Conyers is another good example of why we need term limits and/or age limitations in Congress. He's 88 and has been in the House since LBJ was President. One story I saw said other politicians were annoyed at him when he showed up to Congress in his pajamas.

Why do politicians want to die in office?

Most of them are horrible people. Conyers was flying in and sexually harassing women on the taxpayer dime, with a nondisclosure setup where it could never get out and he could never be held accountable. That is probably a "better" drug to a guy like that than heroin.

We don't need age discrimination. Simply term limits.

That power is obviously as addicting as the Heroin/Meth is.....

Twelve former female staffers defend Rep. John Conyers after harassment allegations http://cnn.it/2hVO2qE

Actually, to stay on point... I don't care if people defend him.

Did he use the sexual-harassment-slush-fund?

Let's face it, on a planet with a population of 7 billion, most women weren't abused by him. It's not a numbers game. Either he did it or he didn't.

If he took money to pay somebody off, then there's enough smoke to check into the case.

I don't care what the other 3.5 billion women on the planet have to say about him.

Speaking on ABC's "This Week," Cokie Roberts made a startling admission: "every female in the press corps knew" to avoid being in an elevator with Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), and has apparently known about this "for years." Conyers has been accused of multiple instances of sexual harassment and has stepped down from the House Judiciary Committee.

Just what has this Conyers guy ever done. Can anybody find any significant legislation with his name on it? Seems all he's accomplished is the ability to get through life without ever having to earn an honest paycheck.

So they have all protected him, but were outraged by Donald Trump's comments to Billy Bush. Right.
