Desperation time. 3:52 left, Pitt with ball, Miami burning timeouts.

Pitt 24
Miami 7

And that (pulling Rosier) folks is why Mark Richt is no longer at Georgia.

24 - 14 ... Pitt can still blow this.

But they didn't. This was a wonderful performance for the Pitt defense and for the Pitt offensive line.

Was listening to the Pitt anouncers on ESPN radio. Have to be the dumbest announcers ever. Make Brent Musberger look brilliant.

One could never keep the score straight. Kept giving Miami another 3 points. Wanted a penalty against Miami because a Miami offensive player was injured after an incomplete pass. The other kept calling it the biggest Pitt win over (Tony Dorsett anyone?????). Just the most ridiculously bad announcers I have ever heard.

The Nebraska announcers did almost as bad a job in the 4th quarter. Once it got to 42-14, they quit calling the plays and started complaining about the program. "Oh, Iowa just scored again, 48-14."

The Pitt announcers were probably on the young side for announcers and you have to think the Nebraska announcers were probably sipping some corn by the 4th quarter. For all of those who insist that the B1G move wasn't really bad for Nebraska and that Nebraska's record was no worse in the Big 10 than it had been in the Big 12, I give you this game to say no Nebraska team in my lifetime has been this humiliated and incompetent for a whole season. Some may have experienced a worse loss (although I did not look it up to see), but this Nebraska team is no longer even just a shadow of former Husker teams, as this one is no longer even resembles the Husker's of a bygone era, except for the profaned uniforms.

Least amount of talent I’ve ever seen at Nebraska and it’s not even close. No way this would’ve ever happened in the BXII.

The Big Ten West is like being relegated to Siberia.

lol, too true...

It's so funny, if the 12 men on the field had turned that game around- I don't know what folks in Auburn would have done.

FWIW, in the time it took ND to run *one* play on offense, they went from being ahead 20-17 in the 4th quarter to being down 38-20. Sequence was:

1) ND kicks FG to go up 20-17.

2) Stanford gets kickoff, drives 70 yards for TD to go up 24-20.

3) On first play of possession from around their own 20, ND throws an INT.

4) Stanford "drives" 25 or so yards for TD, goes up 31-20.

5) Ensuing kickoff, ND fumbles the kick return.

6) Stanford "drives" 15 or so yards for TD, 38-20.

That all took about 4 minutes on the game clock, a 4 minute comedy of errors that probably knocked Notre Dame into the Pinstripe Bowl.
