It's been said many times that the JMU Defense is just dominating, but take a look at how it matches up against the top level D's at the FBS level:

7 Field Goals
1 Safety
112 total points allowed

Wisconsin
15 Touchdowns
15 Extra Points
0 2-point conversions
13 Field Goals
144 total points allowed

Clemson
18 Touchdowns
18 Extra Points
0 2-point conversions
9 Field Goals
153 total points allowed

Georgia

13 Field Goals
158 total points allowed

JMU

NDSU is second in FCS with 135 points (16 TDs), with the next playoff team being Kennesaw State {5th scoring defense} with 159 (21 TDs)

RE: JMU Defense
Hard to believe how crappy our defense was under EW. With this year's numbers, Trott won't be around long.

Trott definitely deserved/earned the Gatorade bath at the end of the Elon game Saturday.

Any chance we can follow a similar path to what NDSU did after Bohl left and promote from within to retain what we have? This is of course assuming what the tennessee volunteer fans on here are proclaiming.

that would stun me. I'd wager about $100 (and I'm currently poor) that it will be an external candidate. we've also hired three straight defensive guys as head coach, and considering the tremendous impact our D has had, I expect another defensive guy.
