NDSU is second in FCS with 135 points (16 TDs), with the next playoff team being Kennesaw State {5th scoring defense} with 159 (21 TDs)

Wow those are some impressive numbers no matter what level of football you're talking about!

Hard to believe how crappy our defense was under EW. With this year's numbers, Trott won't be around long.

Any chance we can follow a similar path to what NDSU did after Bohl left and promote from within to retain what we have? This is of course assuming what the tennessee volunteer fans on here are proclaiming.

that would stun me. I'd wager about $100 (and I'm currently poor) that it will be an external candidate. we've also hired three straight defensive guys as head coach, and considering the tremendous impact our D has had, I expect another defensive guy.
