I have said it over and over that he has not shown the ability to do so. He hasn't. I hope he does. One game does not prove anything. He's still shooting 28% from 3. Lets all hope he continues doing what he did vs. Dayton and not the other games he's played for ODU.

There is very little that is more ignorant than "WATCH THE GAMES, NOT THE BOX SCORES, DERP DERP."

Not buying this at all. If you only looked at box scores, you would think Ahmad couldn't shoot at all last year. Instead, it was the fact that he was having to take the shots late in the shot clock because nobody else could create their own.

Or if you were intelligent, you would look it up to see what percentage of shots were with little time on the shot clock.

Ahhh yes. The family is bickering after another ODU win. This thread feels much better now. I wonder what chaos we would create if we were to share a Thanksgiving table together.

Lol. Intelligence is not repeating stupidity. And looking at 3 point percentages to define whether someone can shoot it on the day of a 25 point performance is far from intelligence.

But I love that word intelligence. And today is a good time to use some of it.

Giles has a point. Even Baker had a few games where he hit a lot of 3s at a high rate. Whether of not Haynes performance yesterday is an indicator or an anomaly is to be determined.

I sure do!!!! I was smiling yesterday. If Haynes plays like that consistently (just hit 35% of treys and decent clip on jumpers), we are a tourney team without injuries.

Major difference I saw between Haynes and baker. Haynes can create his own shot and isn't just standing at the 3 point line. He's shown he's willing to drive. On top of that he's still been a good defender. I like him.
