Yeah, the team is poorly coached. That's why the coach is the dean of coaches in the MAC. It also explains those two conference titles and how many divisional titles, 7 or 8?

This team has one senior starter and two sophomore forwards starting unless Davis starts. South Carolina will win 18-20 games this year at likely be a top SEC contender. You can't escape the fact WMU is a mid major and entered the tournament having played three D3 level programs. Speed is the difference and SC doesn't have 6'4 forwards with a 6'5 center. WMU will be fine and a much different team come MAC time. Even the SC coach Frank "The Madman" praised WMU and expects them to be in the NCAA tourney.

I agree with Buick here. SC was in the final four last year. We'll be just fine.

We are going to be a better team because we played SC twice. They are a tough inside-outside team with relentless defense. We should be ok in MAC play. I am concerned that we fall back into the "watch Wilder take over" mode too often, but overall I think we will be fine.

Now... how can we get Dugan to stop that spinning, fall-away, bank shot?
