And had recently won what was possibly the biggest bcs bowl game upset over Baylor in that epic Fiesta Bowl shootout.

What you are seeing now on the field for UCF is largely the quality of recruits that opened their doors to O'Leary's staff on the heels of that success. We used up all of the goodwill of our past run of success. Guys like Bond, Tion Greene, Zach Edwards, Ryan Leahey, DJ Dowdy, Nate Cole, and Alex Pace were about the last guys through that we recruited under Jones.

Kids we are recruiting now were in the 2nd or 3rd grade when we went to the Sugar Bowl.
