Not trying to start an argument, but i'm still confused. I googled, Liberty University racist politics and only found articles about Trump.
Still don't understand how Liberty is perceived as racist by HBCU schools.

This article might help explain things:
https://www.thenation.com/article/agent-intolerance/

Obviously, the source is openly very left-wing (so it makes sense to be cautious and look for other sources when reading it - as you should be with any partisan source), but it makes use of Falwell Sr.'s own words from his sermons. There are a number of other christian websites who have expressed an uncomfortableness with Liberty's (and Falwell's) past - particularly in regards to race.

Anxiously await the responses claiming Liberty isn't driven by Falwell's values...

Thanks for the link and yes, it is very openly left wing. Hopefully people can see a difference in what someone thought in the 60's versus Liberty University today.

Liberty will find themselves in a VERY different universe when they go down to Hampton. That's all I have to say.

Say what? This tells me you have never been to a sporting event at HU. Like most colleges, they're cordial and welcoming.

This tells me you don't have the vaguest idea of what I'm talking about. A lot of the kids at Liberty have led exceedingly sheltered lives, just let me put it that way. They have never been in an environment where they are outnumbered by people who are different from them, or if they have, as on "mission trips" they have been (probably unconsciously, but still been) in a position of artificial superiority. This will be a VERY new experience for them.

Okay. But what exactly do you think is going to happen when they visit HU? Do you think once they meet nice educated African Americans their heads will explode?

WTF are you talking about? You do know that Liberty regularly plays away games at HBCU schools right? We usually host home and home deals across all sports with them. Usually with NSU, Howard and Hampton. You're speaking as if we never been to a HBCU before.

Btw Liberty and Hampton not liking each other is such BS.

Could Liberty license its online model to be used elsewhere? The university has not decided to do so, Falwell said. But he left the door open to such an arrangement. Liberty is already partnering with Hampton University. The universities aren’t disclosing the terms of that partnership, but plans call for it to involve athletics and online academics.

“I took my senior team up a few weeks ago to kick the tires, so to speak, because I heard a lot about their academic program, their online program,” said Hampton’s president, William R. Harvey.
