If someone started a poll that asked who has been a more divisive figure amongst Bronco fans: DB or Hoejkie, the voting might be close. Maybe even surprising.
Both of them have provided some cringe-worthy material here, IMO.
Hoekjeness is a genuine poster here. Some don't share his feelings, but he isn't a nut job. DB at one time, many years ago was a decent enough contributor. The guy became off the charts, and still is. He started literally stalking me through Dips Facebook site, and it was the lunatic kind of out of the blue stuff, which caused me unfollow the site, but then he still jumps out now and then. There is no one who will ever touch DB in terms of lunacy and nastiness.
Many folks here dont like the antagonism with how the coaches have done things this year. I share the Hoekjeness view that this team could and should have played far better but for this staff. Others maintain it was Flecks fault, injuries, bad weather, or things beyond Lester's control, and have faith that we will have a great season next year. Time will tell, because Lester is not going anywhere.
What I have always thought revealing though is how folks here too often personally attack the poster when they dont have a logical or supportable response to someones position. Hoekjeness has been here for years, but because he has the audacity to question the coaching, when clearly even the least optimistic poster here would have great reason to be disappointed with the way the season has gone, some here trash the guy. Seasons almost over. I have expressed great concern that we will be stuck in mediocrity while Lester remains. The schedule wont be an excuse next year. It is extremely favorable. I assume we may have some bad weather next year, but hopefully nobody will cite that as a reason for losing, since both teams deal with the same weather. I am sure we will have injuries again, since every team has lots and lots of injuries, and you just deal with it. Next year we will have two QB's with plenty of game experience, good arms, athleticism, and with a head coach who specializes in coaching QB's. And we will have a team who has a complete year plus of working with our current coaching staff's "system". Our HC will have "experience as a head coach".
How bout some predictions on our record next year??
