If give effect to revenue then equality is fine.

At a UConn or TN WBB are revenue generators at UC 300 fans doesn't pay the light bill.

Especially when those 300 get in for free.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Same with our volleyball team that played there in the Fall.

There is actually a lot of benefits from playing at St. Ursula. I saw a few volleyball highlights on BearcatsTV and it looked like they had good crowds. I think what likely happened was the students attended the games after schools. If I were UC I'd just schedule basketball after the last bell and coordinate with SUA to pack the house every contest.

On top of this, I think it would help with recruiting locally for those sports.

So far, all of the volleyball home matches have been Friday night (7 pm) and Sunday afternoon.

The Athletic Department does a good job of reaching out to local junior highs to get groups in for matches. Last year, they set new attendance records for the volleyball program. Obviously free tickets help as does UC being a good program.

As someone involved in the student side of volleyball recruiting, playing permanently in an off campus high school gym would hurt a rising program.
