TSSAA isn't fair. I think Wiseman and Boyce will get approved this year. But they are going to rewrite the rules once East wins this appeal.

There's absolutely nothing we can do. Well, that's not exactly true. Tennessee Board of Education can review the rules. But I wonder if this current state government has been historically friendly to SCS.

Ensworth doesn't like it b/c they lost the #1 basketball recruit in the state and top kid nationally. If you know anything about Ensworth, they aren't taking it lightly (obviously). They're mad and raising a fuss.

My question is what is the real reason for the suspension? Are his grades bad? He transferred before the school year. This isn't college so what is the punishment for? Its stupid, just let the kids play.

The TSSAA has a rule to prevent AAU coaches from recruiting players to specific high school teams. They believe East is in violation of that rule.

However, in our case. Penny isn't the coach of Team Penny. Todd Day is. He isn't even the sponsor. That's Nike.

East and SCS will win if they go to court. So the TSSAA is going to have to make up some rule to prevent it.

TSSAA is controlled by people who want Ensworth to have advantages over other schools. They want to remove any advantage that a school like East has. This is basically regulatory capture.

So any time TG4 says "All SCS has done is poke a bear." He means is that TSSAA will regulate the rules to give Ensworth an advantage.

The TSSAA is going to hate this??? [1] Obviously, a flight simulator is an impermissible benefit.

East is going to be one of the best high schools in the state in the next few years. 04-cheers

Good. High Schools should not be recruiting players and players should not be shopping high school for basketball factories.

Players should be forced to play to the school they are assigned to by the school system.

College sports is already out of control and it seems as if high school is not to far behind.

Same attitude that created this situation is what cause grade changing in SCS.

Got to do something about the tail wagging the dog.

Wish TSSAA would appeal to higher court. These activist courts should never get involved when the TSSAA is enforcing the rules.

Ever stop and wonder what it would mean if the TSSAA determines that Penny is using his AAU team to recruit for his high school team? He could be suspended.
