I understand how interest might be diminished due to some tough, tough losses over the weeks, but the season continues. The players are still playing their hearts out.

Every game still matters.

As was posted on the other thread, 5 - 7 sounds a helluva lot better than 3 - 9.

It is a lot easier to sell 5 - 7 to recruits and students and fans next August than 3 - 9 and it is easier for the returning players to convince themselves that they were very close to being a very good team.

And for next week, it will be the last organized football game most seniors will play.

That matters!!

Here's what I'm looking for in this game:
-Can the D-Line, specifically the ends keep hammering QBs?
-Does the secondary force a turnover or two?
-Does the offensive line keep showing improvement?
-Roback is 5 INTs away from the EMU record. Can he do it all in one game or will it take him two games to pass it?
-Can Fricano finish the year strong?

Agree on the OL and DL. That OL has a chance to improve significantly during the spring and get redshirt help (Sow). It could be much better next year.

Temps tonight should be near 50 with a steady breeze (not too bad).

With MACtion comes the minuscule crowd. Not many people in Oxford for this game.

Knew 100% we wouldn't score on 4th down in that same idiotic jumbo set. Gives them 11 guys vs. our 10. Just stupid!!!!!!!!!!! But so typical of our offense and OC this year.

Right there is what a running QB can do for you. Really helps in the red zone.

I still wonder if he wasn't hurting during a good part of the season and not running like he is doing tonight.

He still has a knee brace on.

I'm wondering if he was coached earlier in the season to not run in order to avoid injuries. Now with only two games left they want him to run because even if he's injured the backup needs to get ready for next season???
