Absolutely. I keep reminding people he won the 3-pt. shooting contest in the first Bluenanza he was here.

Peter has a nice stroke. One of the best I’ve seen for a man his size.

ETSU highlights. We looked dang great in parts of this game.

Edit: Also this just made me remember Peter Jurkin's miss was actually just a good assist lol.

Something else about Peter’s game against Kentucky: that was the best that he has ever looked catching the ball. Did he have stickem on his hands?

Props from Coach Cal: “Give them credit,” Kentucky coach John Calipari said. “There’s a team that won 27 games last year. I was very impressed with Steve and his team. Their big guys looked better than our big guys. One kid walked off ‘Why didn’t you recruit me?’ I probably should’ve.”

Would love to know who said this to Coach Cal lol

Peters role is to be a rim protecter, rebounder and low postup offense ( dunks, put backs, short jumpers, offensive rebounds.

Leaving the low post area to shoot jumpers negates all of Peter's responsibilities. Yes he will make some, as he did against Kentucky, but the Bucs will give up much more in easy scoring opportunitis and offensive rebounds.

Peter has to play to his strengths to help our defensive and offensive schemes. He must stay close to basket because he has neither the footspeed or quickness to play out on the floor.

Peter is a great kid and is busting his tail to help the Bucs be a good team. Thanks Peter for coming back another year. May good health see you through the season and your future.
