You know as well as I that UCLA won't give them any significant punishment. Suspend them for the first 10 minutes of one game or something like that.

I find myself wishing that the Chinese go through and prosecute them and let them rot in jail for a while. Might give them a bit of useful perspective.

It will be interesting, if UCLA wins the national championship (and it is probably destiny now), if these guys refuse the invite to the White House.

UCLA can make the argument that they don't pay their players like some other big schools do. Their players have to shoplift to get nice things. Calipari's players can buy them outright.

Oh that's good. They would be criticized if they go and criticized if they don't go. Finally, a reason to root for ucla.

They probably won't. If I were president, I would make sure they were off the team and their scholarship wasn't renewed.

They will see signs in opposing gyms with "Bruins" marked out and replaced with "Shoplifters" or "Jailbirds." Maybe a sign with a gun and shades saying-"Don't even think about taking mine." And I hope they face that if they keep them. I hope they get in the NCAA tourney and those signs get on national TV.

The three are suspended indefinitely. They will have to 'earn their way back on the team' according to coach Steve Alford. In other words, if we start sucking, they've earned their spots back.
