With some ferocious performances in the trenches and a little help from lady luck, we might have a rematch against Akron in the MAC championship.

Good QB play has flipped the MAC last three weeks. Who would have thought Akron would rise in the East. Those damn Chips are still in it also.

They're less in it than they were 2 weeks ago. If we beat NIU and Toledo, CMU beats NIU and Toledo beats BGSU it'll be a 3 way tie. Everything is even until the 3rd tie breaker which is Comparison of conference winning percentage of crossover opponents of tied teams.

Toledo would win this tie breaker now, not CMU. Toledo's opponents were Akron, Ohio, and BGSU - 12 wins

CMU opponents were Ohio, Kent state, Miami - 9 wins.

Our opponents were Akron, Kent state, Buffalo - 8 wins.

That's why the Akron win was also pretty big, it would have helped CMU had it gotten to this scenario since it would have boosted us 1 win.

The only way CMU can win the MACW is if Toledo loses to BG + WMU and we beat NIU.

Okay, so can WMU still get in?

What is the scenario?

We beat NIU & UT
Then who do we need in CMU vs NIU. Probably NIU right?

But if UT beats BGSU, then aren't they in assuming WMU beats NIU and UT, and NIU beats CMU?
