Moral victory yes. They looked good! How did that team lose to OBU? The problem is that the OBU loss diminishes the feeling of this good showing. However, if they keep playing like they did tonight, Little Rock will end up having a pretty decent year when all is said and done!

looking at the stats
I didn't get to follow the game because Magazine was playing.

The Lottie kid looks like the real deal. 12 pts 4 assists
Anthony Black impressive once again. Where did we find this kid?
Mompremier 3 of 5 with FOUR blocks. (He is now 7 of 9 for the season)
We did not shoot well, but we were +3 on the boards
16 turnovers is too many

RE: Feeling better
Offense: Played really well when we played half-tempo. Most of the turnovers were result of fast play. The others were when we didn't move the ball. A lot of careless handling, offensive fouls, and bad passes. If we slow down, there will be less turnovers.

Defense: Overall better than last game. Zone defense looked solid but the corners were open for a lot for good shots but luckily Memphis didn't shoot too many of them. Man to man defense was only effective if we switch faster and with more flow. Also wouldn't hurt to be tough and play face to face!

Coaching: Honestly felt like this was Wes' best coached game from my perspective. He signaled Lottie to slow down a lot and play offense slow and efficiently. He also did a good job in reducing the number of players in the game and gave more minutes to the guys who are playing well.

REQUESTS: Lottie needs to stay (for now) as our starting PG with Anthony Black as the backup.
Give more minutes to Mompremier, especially when we need a defensive stop.
Reedus has proven himself as a solid player, keep him in.
Give Hadzic and Oliver Black the ball more!
Lastly, play like this against San Diego and WIN!!!

Sky is not falling. Second game (really first) at the DI level for a lot of new players. We have talent and will have more when DeAndre returns. Lottie is a big time point guard. Redus will be a big time scorer. We have nice bigs with Wadly, Black, and Bankston. This team will compete well in the Sun Belt. We'll take a few lumps early, but we will be a fun team to watch.

Don't know, but he was up and walking around during time outs. I think it was a foot or leg issue so I am hoping it is sooner rather than later.

Evidently the power outage was when we lost our momentum in the game. Tough.

RE: Feeling better
I don't think we are going to win the conference of anything like that, but I don't think this team is as bad as we may have feared after the OBU debacle. We have to get the pecking order straightened out, roles established, etc.

We will be competitive in the league and may even surprise some folks. I expect Wes and the team to show improvement this season, and will be very happy if that is the case. I believe recruiting has taken a step up since he was hired. Don't expect miracles but believe the program is heading in the right direction.
