"And to the person who didn't know Kelly could shoot 3s...where were you for the exhibition and first game?"

I was in my seat watching all the games....just checked the box scores for Rutgers and Wagner and Kelly was 0-0 on 3-point shots in both games. No box score on the exhibition so it's very possible I missed some of her shots.

I am just excited that she brings this facet to the game as well as her great inside presence. I think she will be one of our stars this season.

The 3s were nice. I do find it odd that a very strong 6'2" front court player tallied zero rebounds though.

If we miss the NCAAs again this year I think we will have officially taken a step back from the Brooks era...

Women's basketball and softball lost two great coaches.

Game was a complete blowout, but the team showed flashes of some good things. I think the run late in the first half was really encouraging. Hopefully the team can build on it and learn from the loss. I wish men's basketball could get games this good on the schedule.

Also, I'm not expert, but I'd be surprised if there are 12 better teams than Tennessee in the country. They looked gooooooodd.

She couldn't get in there. LVs defense was just too strong. Neither could Kayla really.

Preseason rankings are cr@p. You should know that! As for us, we're kind of a work in progress. Looking to next year, we'll be better, but this year is Coach O rebuilding post-Hall. People need to remember this rule about a new coach, even if they've been an assistant in the same program: it takes 3 years to build your team, and 7 to make it YOUR program.
