It'll take some getting used to not going down there, but around 6pm tonight when Duke and Michigan State tip off, I'll be watching that and reminding myself of why we didn't renew season tickets. Told my wife last night while watching a little of Wichita that it looks like they are playing a completely different sport than what Tubby is sending out there. She smiled and said "D1 vs D2"

You may be right, but this coach has been dealing with problems (players) from the last coach's team. I actually thought the team showed improvement in their play last year before the lawson crew decided to sabotage the last part of the season with their family drama.

Really? This team is all his. Or are Martin and Rivers the only problems with this team? When does it become Tubby's? What year can we question the recruiting? I'll hang up and listen...

I can't recall which dumb*** posted this but, during Paz first year he said something to the effect that he "really enjoyed the conference games a lot more now that we weren't just 'blowing everybody out".

He must be having an orgasmic experience almost every game the past 3 + years.......

After we finished 31-5? Unreal.

Those 30 wins got us an 6 seed, a lucky win over Delavadova and trounced in the 2nd round. If not after that year, then certainly after repeating the blowout NCAA loss the next. But we have some folks giving out amazing contracts over there.

In pastner's last year, the tigers were 19-15 (8-10). They won like 3 of the last 4 games to improve to that record.

I still think the tigers showed improvement in the early part of last year in their play. I think the record shows that too. They were 17-6 (7-3) until they lost 7 out of 9 games, and yes, i believe the lawsons were being a "negative" to the team at the end of the year over daddy and tubby not getting along. Tigers finished the season 19-13 (9-9)

I'm sure you will have a smart azz response to that one too.

There is not much doubt the Lawson drama was really ugly near the end. Many college teams get burned out of their coach near the end of the season, especially a losing one.

I will say that I was vehemently against the hiring of Tubby the second we announced it. Terrible hire then, even worse now.

Let's face it: why on earth would anyone think Tiger BB is on an upward swing?
