1. It isn't an upset when the better team wins.
2. Winning this game doesn't "make our season." Wining this game is sprinkles on top of the extra icing on our cake.

“It’s a college football team … they’re 7-3 so that should wake everybody’s eyes open,” Shannon said. “Play at your level. Don’t play at nobody else’s level. Don’t take anything for granted.”

Exactly! The Blazers should not play down to Florida's level!

Just to keep things real here, how many players do you think we have that would start for Florida?

+1

Coaching will hopefully give us a chance. We have some really good players but it's hard to compare to Florida

we have a team that’s been together for ten games and lost to two of the worst teams in college football. If we we in Clark’s fourth or fifth season I’d expect a different outcome this game. I really would be shocked if we kept with one within two tds.

They're pretty decimated with injuries though. The gap may not be as wide if you say who from UAB could start for Florida among Florida's healthy players.

This was a bad UF team before all the injuries. Now they're just trying to hold things together with duct tape and chewing gum.

In terms of CUSA vs. SEC, I feel as good about this game as I possibly could.

There is an unknown of how a decimated SEC team stacks up against a CUSA team with a head of steam. I do have a feeling that we are going to hate the officiating in this one. Our tight pass coverages are probably going hurt us in some situations...I just hope we don't go too soft after they throw the first couple of DPI flags.

When all is said and done though, I like our chances.
