RE: Chattanooga Game Thread
We haven't beaten the crap out of bad opponents consistently in years. This is the most positive start to a season UAB has had in a long time. It's still hard to believe Bryant is a freshman.

RE: Chattanooga Game Thread
Interesting stats for our newcomers through two games.
Jalen Perry is shooting 57% on 3pt attempts.
Makhtar Gueye has yet to miss a shot from the field as a blazer, he's 4-4, 2-2 from deep.
Zack Bryant is Shooting 73% from the field, 50% on threes.

Other interesting stats:

Nate Darling is averaging 13 ppg, despite shooting only 28% from downtown.
Chris Cokely was put on this earth to punish teams with poor post players. He's averaging 19ppg and 11.5rpg while shooting 70% from the field.

Spell check got me on the first mistake. I didn’t realize the Memphis-Bama game was at a neutral site (Annapolis, MD). Thanks!

Gueye is such a welcome blessing to the improvement of rebounding and defending and scoring for the team, as well as the two outstanding freshmen guards. Unfortunately, he fouled out with five fouls in ten minutes, last night. Oh boy!

I think one of the "outstanding freshman guards" is a junior.

RE: Chattanooga Game Thread
Good to see our team lay waste to a team like UTC. Anything more than one loss in next week's tournament would be quite a letdown but I see no reason we can't win it all.
