We've got a hidden gem in a tiny suburb outside of Wichita. Some big name folks have frequented this quaint little establishment (Harrison Ford, etc.).

Pitino would approve.

Would this Shocker take Pitino if Gregg Marshall retired and there was no suitable replacement? I'd sure as **** take him over losing for a decade. I'd take him and his pedophile cousin.

Losing/irrelevance is worse than hell.

Marshall won't retire, he'll take the Louisville job.

It's an easier route to the Final Four here. He doesn't have to leave. If Wichita will continue paying top dollar, he stays.

That's not necessarily true. In fact, one could argue the exact opposite.

Making the NCAA tournament from the new ACC can be tricky. There are normally 8 to 10 tourney level teams in terms of talent PER SEASON.

Which also results in more chances at quality wins...

You’re right. It’s the most attractive dumpster fire I’ve ever seen.

Padgett is the fall guy. The next hire will be major for them. They won't be down for too long.

When the smoke clears Pitino will have a new job. I for one hope it's at ECU...

Consider visiting for dinner if you come to Wichita to follow your team to Koch Arena. It's a 30 min. drive from the doors of Koch Arena (mostly highway).

Be sure and make reservations... here's a 'wagon train' heading there now.

The new AAC scheduling model will add a bid to the AAC each year. It's really smart planning by the league office.

Pitino is available.

We actually tried to hire him when Calipari left. The good ol' days, when everybody thought cheating in basketball was just breaking NCAA rules, not earning you potential prison time.

Isn't this better than initially thought?

@JonRothstein

UCF's B.J. Taylor will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a fracture in his foot, per Johnny Dawkins.
