Brent Stockstill Now All-Time Leading Passer in MT History
Brent is now the school's all-time leader in passing yards, passing yards per game, touchdown passes, 300-yard passing games and 400-yard passing games. Did that in just 28 games. Most of those records broken by my amigo and Raider great Wes Counts who played in 43 games. Had he stayed healthy he probably would have been top 5 in NCAA history, but he's now basically missed the equivalent of 3/4 of a season so no chance to do that now.

He's great. No doubt about it. Still not sure why you guys didnt redshirt him after he got hurt, but it looks like it might pay off with a bowl so it may be a decent gamble.

If you guys get a chance to watch the vid Wes makes a great point about the extra pressure that - like himself - Brent was under to perform and be successful. Something that a lot of folks don't think about in terms of him being the coaches son is the fact that the pressure he has on himself is immense because his success or failure directly impacts his entire family. Good stuff.

It was Brent's will that he come back. Completely his decision. Coach said that Brent told him that there was no way he wasn't getting back on the field. The kid is tough.
