RE: Polls
USC's unimpressive win against a crappy Colorado team was enough to jump UCF. Penn State wins against a bad Rutgers, sure enough, they jump UCF as well.
Next week, look for OkState, TCU, Washington, and Washington State to leap ahead as well.

This is a total farce of a system. Sadly, the coaches poll was the one that had the least bias vs the AP and CFP.

At this point it is safe to say that even if UCF wins out, I don't see them higher than 9 in the coaches poll. If they win at the NY6 bowl, maybe they move to 7 to finish the year....... however the ultimate slap in the face wouldn't have come just yet. That is for the off season. Even if Scott Frost comes back, we have a great recruiting class, and bring back most of the team........preseason poll may have us just outside of being ranked or maybe 22-25.......... and it will be the same damn team......what a complete JOKE!!!

RE: Polls
I do love the fact we are bitching about how high our multiple Top 25 teams are (P6 problems) as opposed to getting one into the Top 25 (G4 problems).

Agree that the polls are a farce. A system simply meant to prop up the privileged.

RE: Polls
AP Poll:

14. UCF
18. Memphis
23. USF

USF actually picked up 59 vote points from last week, but somehow dropped a spot.

That's the AAC for you. Everyone else moves up 2-3 spots when they are in a bye week. AAC teams remain the same or drop.

Respect. Plus we don't play and expect credit for beating a bad football team.

In 2015 the Coogs dropped from 18th in the CFP rankings to 25th during our bye week. It is what it is.

Yet PSU moved up 3 spots for beating a bad Rutgers team by a similar margin as UCF over UCONN. It's not the results on the field that matter, it's what conference you are in and what your reputation is.
