How CUSA can get 11 bowl teams
Solidly in:

FAU, UNT, UAB, Marshall

At six wins:

FIU, Southern Miss

Five win teams and what needs to happen:

WKU 6-6: MTSU (L), @FIU (W)
MTSU 6-6: @WKU (W), @ODU (L)
UTSA 6-5: Marshall (W), @Louisiana Tech (L)

Four win teams and what needs to happen:

ODU 6-6: Rice (W), @MTSU (W)
Louisiana Tech 6-6: @UTEP (W), UTSA (W)

Let's do it guys! Here's the plan, let's execute!

The only thing the Monarchs need to be thinking about right now is beating Rice.

Anybody else notice that Rice has averaged 28 points per game in their last three games -- with 34 yesterday against USM? Somehow, I think it is going to take all ODU has to beat Rice this week.

Haha, this year would be the year. If Brent plays MT probably wins. If not, we lose.

If mtsu were a team player they would let us win.

That may be required for this plan to work :)

I don't see 11 eligible teams, with 5 or 6 of them having 6 wins as a good thing, I'd rather see ~8 eligible with most of them at at least 7 wins.

Our conference needs all the money it can get.

Also, we usually do well in bowls. What if of the 11 here we get eight or nine wins? Combined with a possibility of FAU running a table finishing in the top 25, I think that looks very good for the conference.

Especially considering we're on the precipice of hopefully signing a better TV or streaming deal.

You seem to think that if we get eleven eligible, they'll all go bowling, will there be enough unfilled bowl slots for us to put that many in? I expect we'd have multiple teams sitting at home with six wins.
