Game Day: Michigan (okay, Michigan-Dearborn, not Ann Arbor)
Game time is 2:00 p.m., not 10:30. Won't be 4K elementary students at the Convo.

Another non-D-I tune-up before getting into D-I tourney action later in the week.

In a sense, these non-D-I games replace exhibition games or even closed scrimmages.

To me, don't need an exhibition game or two if going to start the season with a non-D-1 game or two.

Well, with the Lions choking against THE 0-8 BROWNS, I'm probably gonna paymore attention to this game today.

I am here. I remember when these games were used just to give these non D1 teams a chance to play a D1 school.

UMD needs to start doubling Thompson. it's almost cruel how much he's already beating up his dude.

Minnie is relentless on offense. i'm smitten. i get why Steve and RamyEMU were so excited about him.

UMD won't keep hitting at 5-8 off 3, but yeah, pretty big holes in the press leaving guys wide open.

the thing is, making threes is how you beat the zone. our full court zone is not good. our half court zone is ok, but a half court 2-3 will always give up threes. if the other team is making them, you're sunk.

Glad we're working out these kinks against lower-tier competition.

These games essentially served as two exhibitions. Need to clean up the press (if we're gonna continue to use it) and the half court zone before we host Arkansas St on Thursday.

crowd is a little larger than expected on a NFL Sunday. Bunch of UofM fans behind their bench and a good sized crowd behind the EMU bench. Is that the 'Groce Effect?"
