Well, when USM had the chance to beat WKU for a Championship, they won. Maybe you haven't noticed all the empty seats at USM games this year. I don't think USM fans need come anywhere close to talking about attendance these days. When faced with a chance to win the West this year, our team got their azzes beat by UNT and UAB. Beats the hell out of me how any USM fan is celebrating this team this year. We struggled to beat a one win Rice team.

it's absolutely the greatest waste of talent at the skill positions in my 40 yrs of watching.....

we simply don't have a coaching staff or qb with a freakin' clue.....at least KG can handle more than a 6 play playbook....

it sucks KG got hurt.....KH has nothing to offer over the course of ANY game....too inconsistent and fumbles WAYYYYYYYYY TTT much....

I personally would've lifted the shirt if the cuban hammer toss is all what 'some' say he is (after KG got hurt)

But “only” 17 bowls in that span as the first 3 years (94-96) bowl games weren’t as plentiful as they are now. 1996 still stings as we started 8-1 and were ranked only to lose our final 2 games at Houston and Florida State. Still not shabby though only having 3 losing seasons in the last 24 years....24 years assuming we don’t lose our final 2 and a possible/likely bowl game.

Yeah our first 4 years in the MAC there was only 1 bowl available, to the conference champion, so we just went ahead and won it every year.

That is exactly what North Texas did when we left the Big West to join the SBC. After those first four years though... things went south.
