A HOUSE DIVIDED
My alma mater squaring off today against my wife's alma matter.
Wife is shopping for overpriced clothes for our daughter in Ft. Wayne.
She could totally give a ****.
So, it's me, my 11-year old son, my 8-year old son, and my 16-month old daughter.
The great debate...
ESPN3....FREE.
Pros - wife is spending too much in Ft. Wayne, so this is appealing
- can focus on game more; get to know this year's team better
Cons - not AT the game.
Read Fieldhouse...NOT FREE.
Pros - AT the game!
Cons - 50 bucks and not being able to concentrate on the game.
hmmmm.
You know how amazing it was back in the day, being able to go to EVERY game. Being able to enjoy EVERY game!!
EA3, break down today's matchup!

Option C: Drop your kids off at a fire station and get out while you still can.

RE: A HOUSE DIVIDED
The Broncos didn't play very well and at times seemed like they were just going through the motions and still scored 103 points and won by 31 against a team that had some decent ball players.
The sky is the limit for this team. I really see the Broncos winning most of their games if they don't get into a habit of beating themselves. Wilder has played very little in the 2 exhibition games and against Sienna Heights but he seems to be even better than last season. He is always under such great control on both ends of the court so he very seldom commits a bad foul or commits a bad turnover. Bryce Moore doesn't do a lot that shows up on the stat sheet but he still seems to be the Broncos best on ball defender and can knock down a shot or two when given the opportunity. Reggie Jones, IMO, is a better version of Tucker. He can do it all like Haymond could but Jones is a little better shooter, more athletic, jumps higher, etc. Jones gives the Bronco offense a great 1-2 punch along with Wilder. Brandon Johnson seems to have really worked on his outside shooting in the off-season. He is very comfortable shooting from 15 feet and in and even will mix in an occasional 3 pointer. He has been quite successful shooting the ball from what I have seen so far at Breakfast w/the Broncos and the 3 games they have played. Seth Dugan is in fantastic shape and also seems to have worked on his shooting in the off-season. I have noticed his shooting a lot of bank shots from 8-10 feet with good success. He had a great turnaround bank shot from about 10 feet in the game Saturday that looked really good. He still has a habit of falling away from the basket on his jump hooks so hopefully he continues to work on that. He is in great shape and running the floor really well. It was concerning that he was in foul trouble against SH especially since he had a big size advantage over their low post players.
There is tons of help coming off the bench this year as well. Lamont is still deadly with his left hand but still seems to struggle on D a little. Josh Davis seems to have turned to corner. He is playing much better on both ends of the floor and I think he will provide great support off the bench this season. Ikongshul after making just 1 shot from the field his entire freshman season was 5-7 from the floor on Saturday including a 3. Printy is probably the best pure shooter on the team. He missed a couple of open looks on Saturday but still looks really good shooting the ball. Randall handles the ball really well at the point, can knock down shots and may be the quickest player on the team.
The 4 freshmen are led by Michael Flowers who seems to have a ton of ability. I don't know how much time he will see as a third string player but when he does get in there he seems to do a lot of things well. Whitens, Clifford and McDermed will probably all see limited minutes this season but all seem to give it everything they have when on the floor. Whitens moves well without the ball and seems to be comfortable inside and out.
This may be the deepest team the Broncos have had in years and they also seem to be really improved as a team from the free throw line. If things go as I think they might, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Broncos cutting down the nets in Cleveland in March.

Thank you for that breakdown, Mr. Porter!
