Opening Day ranking
all but 2 teams have played
1. Wichita - not by much. returning everyone shows; little rust
2. Cincy - needs chemistry building but elite and very deep
3. UCF- (* if tacko fall and bj taylor injuries arent serious and they can return by conference play), top 3 players didnt play and still held its own versus a not horrible team
4. Houston- rob didn't play, and still had 13 players rotated, very deep team
5. Temple (Didn't play)
6. SMU- umbc isnt a bad team, 21 wins last year. a close game isnt a bad thing. but this team is not deep at all.shake will win POY in the AAC just because smu will need him to put up ridiculous points each game just to have a chance. hopefully the usf transfer can bring depth for them in January
7. UConn- jalen adams didnt play but overall uconn as a team didnt look good, Colgate was bad..Alterique Gilbert hasnt performed to his hype yet..but he also hasnt played in almost 2 seasons. maybe time needed?....the talent is there they just need to improve..diarra also has dissappointed (you have to question ollie as a developer) ..top 70, sid wilson recruit still waiting on ncaa waivers
8. Memphis- bama loss doesnt look bad, until you realize bama was without 3 original planned starters and it was a blowout...but memphis is very tall and athletic, will cause problems all season
9. ECU (Didn't play)
10. Tulane- underrated team, beat lsu in a scrimmage , now beat a 20 win liu from last year
11. Tulsa- too small and cant shoot
12. USF- better than last year..so many new pieces and coaches will get better as season moves along

RE: Opening Day ranking
Fair analysis and rankings after 40 minutes of play (for most teams).
I think Tulsa is too high though.
