But they had first-and-goal from the like 7 with plenty of time left. Anyway good on them

As much as I enjoyed the celebration I can only imagine the disappointed feeling had they thrown a pick there

With the Sun Belt having 5 agreements to match their 5 eligible teams they will all participate. The 3 left out I’m afraid will be a 2-1 combo of CUSA and MAC teams unless the MWC only has 5 tie ins as they have 6 eligible in which case it could be 1-1-1.

I think two CUSA teams sit at home. I think the odds of bowling for our four 6 win teams are something like this:

Tech: 70% (due to geographic advantage over MT and WKU, and our head to head matchup advantage over UTSA)
UTSA 65% (due to geographic advantage over MT and WKU)
WKU 45% (recent history gives them an edge over MT, but MAC team likely to get in ahead of the Toppers)
MT 35% (just not enough bowls this year)

SEC bias homers in full effect. Guy on ESPN with twitter name SECbooger just said FCS Mercer has a better record than UNLV so Bama has the advantage.

Here’s my pros/cons for the 4. I’m sure there’s plenty I missed but this is based off my non-biased just looking at schedule/results thoughts/opinions

Pros:
LT - beat UTSA and WKU, 2 of 4 CUSA losses were 1 point each while loss 3 was in 2OT, played East and West champs (lost both), all 4 CUSA losses were to teams with 6-2 or better CUSA record
WKU - beat MT, played 2 P5s (0-2)
MT - played 3 P5 teams (1-2), 2 of 4 CUSA losses were road games with margin being 2 and 3 points respectively, only 1 of the 4 with no FCS opponent
UTSA - beat a P5 (Baylor), 4 of 5 CUSA losses were by 7 points or less

Cons:
LT - can’t really come up with one unless it’s their late game collapses in multiple games
WKU - lost 4 of last 5 overall (lost 3 of last 4 CUSA games), only 1 CUSA win (MT) vs team with winning record
MT - only 1 CUSA win vs team with winning record (FIU)
UTSA - only one with losing CUSA record, lost 3 of final 4 games

The league is an underdog in every game except FAU (who got a weak opponent and at home).

If Vegas holds true C-USA will go 1-8. Maybe getting this many teams wasn't so good after all.

How is having 9 teams going to a bowl game (and another eligible team sitting home) "not so good"? Personally, I would rather have 9 teams in a bowl game and go 1-8 than having only 6 teams in a bowl game and go 5-1.

I'd never heard of it either.

I'ts a beverage made by "gentle juicing" tart cherries in Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes region: Seneca Lake) -- "pure juice without added water, sugar or preservatives" -- and marketed for its health benefits ("Did you know that tart cherry juice could help with faster muscle recovery, trouble sleeping, and increased stamina? Anthocyanins are what give tart cherries their beautiful deep red color and are also credited with providing powerful health benefits.")

ok, I am running out the door to buy some of this juice. Muscles in my right hand need to recover faster.
