Conference Basketball Tournaments - Seating set-up

Doesn't look like the most well thought plan.

For only $125 you can have an end court seat a half mile away from the court, but the bonus is you are only another half mile from a complete other game going on simultaneously. Only the 21st best conference in the country could come up with such ingeniuity

The Commissioner needs to lose her job over this. The venue choice is suspect. The layout proposed looks like it had 10 minutes of thought put into it. It'll be interesting to find out how many locker rooms are present, as they are going to need at least 8 and preferably 16 on days one and two. And I've got $5 that says the sound abatement issues haven't and won't be addressed.

Who makes all of their inherent seating worthless ? ChumpUSA that's who.

If their newest executive Brian Mackin tries to sell this, he needs to lose his job too.

There are maybe 2000 decent seats at each courtside. A basketball court is 94 feet long. A football field is 160 feet wide. So the best seats in the ~6000 inherent stands is going to be about 65 feet from the end line, probably with a press row to see through. The sight angle is going to be horrible. SMDH

??? The conference announced the Tourney locale 2 months before Mackin was hired. The only thing Brian can do now is damage control.

Then it probably won't be a problem, because I doubt there will be 2000 people at any game.

How do you count attendance when two games are going on. Do you count each person double or as one half?

Even middle school games play one game at a time. this is more like some church Upward Bound youth league.

Do the team parents or the conference provide juice boxes and gummy bears after the games?

All 12 people there will probably slide down to the premium seats at half time, as long as they start the trek at the under 8 timeout.

Lol. I’ll be one of the only ones there anyway. Hell I might even get to sit on the end of the bench!

The Huntsville Times Classic is run like this in the Von Braun Center Exhibit Hall. The 2 or 3 courts are separated by the divider panels hung from the ceiling. 16 local high school teams that get a 2 game guarantee.
