There has been a noticeable improvement in the talent level in just the last few seasons. Guys like Jermaine Sanders and Shaq Thomas, who played a lot of minutes during their careers, would not get playing time on this team.

Amen. The recruits are very solid. No huge deficiencies in their games.

Next step will be landing that one 5 star game changer. Hopefully that happens after a new arena and a final four run.

Meh, I don't know how important that is. Personally I want to see a national championship and I think you need at least one sure fire NBA lottery type on the team to have a great chance and as long as Mick continues to recruit solid guys that all can contribute I think it would be fine to have a one and done every couple of years. I don't want to be UK or Duke, but getting a couple of those types I think would get UC much farther in March and even help to build UC's following among casual fans.
