OT - New nano-brewery by Rice alum
I thought I would mention a nano-brewery named Baileson opened a few months back at 2322 Bissonnet, next to where Kay's used to be. The owners are a Rice alum and his wife. They are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and a place to stop by for a good beer before or after a Rice game. Today, they are debuting Parliament Pale Ale, a tribute to Rice. Current other options are a smash IPA, a west coast IPA, an imperial IPA, a coffee stout, and a porter. For you beer nerds, you can see ratings on beer advocate and untapped. They are also dog friendly.

Not my review of the specific beers, but rather my generalized personal preferences toward each category...

Flip your ratings and that's me.

I've been meaning to check this place out.

My understanding is that the plan is to recreate Kay's somewhere in the hill country, and the table will go there.
