This isn't even the worse one. I watched another one where a child takes someone's sidearm at a party and it fires.

In that same video, a man looks down the barrel of a gun and it fires almost taking his head off.

That is an excellent point. Before you can get a license to drive however, you have to get a permit at age 15 and you have to take a written test and several months of class. Then you have to drive several hours with another licensed adult.

Do you think we should do the same for first time gun owners?

I never said they were seasoned veterans. I posted the video simply because it was funny because thankfully no one was hurt.

It does go to show however how dangerous guns can be when people just let anyone shoot them without proper training.

Without doing a 50 state compendium search, if your are 21 years old, in every state that I have knowledge of you don't need to take drivers ed course to get a drivers license.

Should we require a test to procreate? Minimum standards for private sex decisions? Why not? More abuse and violence and misery and death would be saved in just one year by that simple craziness than in all the years going forward from a test for gun ownership.

You can not legislate common sense. What bothers me about a lot of those is that a guy would let his girlfriend or wife fire a firearm with properly training her. I would no more allow my wife to fire my 12 gauge than I would allow her to try use a chainsaw.

I only watched the first minute, but it seems to me your position is that a person should be handed a gun and know how it is going to kick before ever firing one. People have to learn. That's HOW they learn. This is what America has come to. You must be perfect before you can do anything.
