The 2017 season comes to an end this weekend at Riverside International Speedway with the Grassroots Nationals. $20 General Admission with kids 11 and under FREE. Be there for the salute to our Veterans.



On the schedule the 305 Winged Sprints, Limited Late Models, Modifieds, Winged 600 cc Mini Sprints and Stocks.

Gates open 4:00 - Hot laps 5:00 - Races 6:30

Bring out your own Red, White and Blue and join the driver's Salute to our veterans

BTW this event was originally scheduled for Halloween weekend, so they are still going to open the pits at intermission for the kids to Trick or Treat.

The Stocks are going to salute our veterans with a display of old glory in each car on parade lap.

I don't do Facebook, Twitter. I am too busy traveling the country attending events. I am in Phoenix this weekend for the Nascar triple header. Then on to Homestead for championship weekend. What a truck race last night.

What do you use for ID at the VA?

I havent been in 35 years. Initally the 214 but it seems they gave me a card. Might have to start going back when i retire.

The poster does nothing but find negative subjects to dwell on. A positive thought never seems to hit his keyboard. I have a hard time taking people serious that never go to an event yet they complain about the size of the crowds that do go. Instead of complaining about the amount of people that go, how bout joining them and being part of the crowd.

Everyone i talked to had a great time last night ending the 69th racing season. 68 years ago when it opened it was beyond anyone's belief it could last this long.

God, Family and Country are the most important items in the lives of racers with racing coming in 4th















Great bunch of people. Love their Country and not afraid to say it. Love God and not afraid to say it. Always thinking of kids with events such as Trick or Treat in the pits last night. Not to mention the weekly kids foot races. Many racers and fans are fourth generation. And fifth generation is not far behind.
