Well, a lot of stupid chit exists, that doesn't mean that anyone with a brain would hang an extra 10-15 pounds on the front of a semi automatic weapon. It's a gimmicky conversation piece, not a legit modification.

Hey, one of my son's Nerf guns actually has a chainsaw bayonet. I better check his bank account and see if USA Today is paying him.

I measure a man's worth by the good that he does. Matt has raised thousands of dollars to fix the health problems of shelter pets that otherwise would be unadoptable and would have to be euthanized.

It occurred to me after reading the original post that some people probably have made some crazy gun modifications on their guns over the years so I decided to google a picture of a guy shooting a crazy looking gun and that one filled the bill. It was meant as a light hearted joke since I'm in a good mood and ready to enjoy a three day weekend.

I had no idea it would get you triggered.............no pun intended.

yeah... I don't see a point in adding that kind of weight to the muzzle of a rifle, especially in that you'd have to have a hell of a battery just to run enough torque to be useful.

So you'll carry a 50 pound weapon rather than a 7 pound one for those 15 minutes when you might need a chainsaw?

This is just someone's idea of a swiss-army rifle... kinda like an idea I had 30 years ago about a car that you could attach a truck bed onto when you needed to haul and then detach it when you wanted economy or to park easily.

As should be obvious (since if it worked, it would be illegal given the magazine) that picture is the prototype he built for a show to grab attention... and people seem to have thought the 'zombie' thing was fun so he actually made it... I mean, for god's sake... it SAYS zombie on it.

Even if you look at the description, it should be obvious that it was mostly tongue in cheek... i.e. after listing how it is a conversation piece, he says (paraphrasing) under uses, 'drug enforcement' so you can watch the criminals while cutting down the pot bushes and 'drug growers' so you can trim your plants while watching for other criminals. he also talks about a hunter clearing a site line, but of course that would be stupid to make that much noise....

iow, this is a novelty item... but like the guy who buys cars like the bat mobile or the back to the future car or the cars from Jurassic park, there IS a market for such novelties.

Whether some of you like it or not, gun 'swag' is a real thing.... From pearl handled pistols to zombie apocalypse rifles.... no different from ultra low profile tires on a truck which of course, ruin the ride and make the truck almost useless to haul things... etc etc etc.

Let's go ahead and throw in that when you raise or lower a car, you change its safety features since things like crumple zones and bumpers are designed around a 'stock' height... so you are more dangerous to yourself and others if you do this. No, not a big deal, but I'm betting when you adjust lowered or raised cars vs zombie chainsaw bayonettes on numbers, that cars are more dangerous.

If you find anyone who wants one of these things to become a more effective killer then you can all tell 'the left' to shut up and agree that Trump (along with Obama and most others) were right and that mental illness needs treatment to help reduce gun violence, because that idiot is nuts.
