It is no suprise since we all saw this coming but holy cow, a local player who isn't in the top 100, who was a recruiting priority and they still miss.

I am just glad that Tubby stuck to what he said at his post-hire press conference when asked about the concern people have about recruiting "I will just go hire a top recruiter". Then of course he hired his son.

Does seem a little strange to announce a commitment at this point but not sign an NLI. Maybe waiting on a better offer from OM?
