What a tough situation for your government. I would hope that every time this happens with ordinary citizens that the US tries to do some kind of deal to bail out the perpetrators. If the government traditionally doesn't, then what a quandary you are in if it seems like you are giving these kids preferential treatment.

If they are guilty, they shouldn't have to pay such a huge price for doing something no matter how completely stupid it was. Nobody should.

I disliked Lavar Ball. Still dislike lots of things he says. But I gotta respect the guy for basically teaching his wife how to be a human being again. That takes a lot of love.

No question. Someone should have counseled these kids and told them you don't F around in China. The laws are different. It's one thing to get picked up for shoplifting in the states. It's a whole different ballgame in China, as they are finding out. Hopefully they come home soon and learn from this.

agree. Such an oversight on the part of admin.

If China does not release them, no colleges will return. American players on their teams may even quit. This will bother China I'm thinking.

They can't censor it from their people.

BB players are looked up to and fawned over.
