Basketball is BACK! Stat of the day: Head Coach Tony Shaver has produced multiple CAA Championship appearances over the past several seasons. In fact, W&M has qualified for nearly half of them over the last decade, appearing in four in the last 10 CAA Championships.

In the article below, we project the Tribe's starting five. We're of course thin at the big-man spot this year, but deep when it comes to sharpshooters (at least according to Coach Shaver). And #InShaverWeTrust -- so in what may be a "rebuilding" year, we look for the Tribe to turn some heads in this year's CAA, as the team has the ability to turn red hot, especially from beyond the arc.

Wow! Not a mention of freshman Jihar Williams, perhaps the hottest shooter in pre-season practice and a guy who may be starting by February if he can learn to play defense. As Tony said at the season ticket holders reception, "Jihar never met a shot he didn't like".

Of course we did! We have him slotted in as the projected sixth man, along with Connor Burchfield.

Nice write up. I don't think that Glover is on the team now. Not sure what happened, but he hasn't been at the practices we have been to and he is not in the team picture.

There is apparently a chance that Glover will rejoin the team second semester. I don't think that is divulging too much, especially since I don't know any other details. I certainly hope to see him back, as given the energy he brings to the team.

While he is not in the photo, he is listed on the roster. Perhaps this is a clue to his potential return for the second semester. I hope that works out.
