I miss Reed Green. Honestly, I had a lot of fun going to those games during the early 90's. When it's sorta full it's a fun little arena. Easy to sneak booze into as well.

I've seen some good games there. Don't take it for granted. Get drunk & make games fun again.

That same atmosphere was not that long ago...2014. We just need to get back to winning and that atmosphere can return.

Couldn’t agree more. I took a lot of games during ‘13 and ‘14 for granted and looking back, I had some of the most fun I ever had. Sneak a pint of Jim Beam into the Yurt and watch Tyndall demolish whoever it was we were playing. Good stuff.

I was fortunate to experience LE's NCAA team, our CUSA Champion football team, and Tyndall's fun years. I had a really good college experience with sports, with the exception of Elllllllllllloss.

what a waste of a good coach we let slip through our fingers....

isn't it other dept's that are responsible for engaging fan interest???

nah.....that's why DT was pounding the pavement day in, day out trying to generate interest.....................and it worked......

he wanted to leave too....

in hoops, who wouldn't want to leave this shitehole of a program.....

Not true. I watched them distribute some courtesy of him after a big win over Blue Mountain.

Funny that no other D-1 basketball program has bothered to hire him as head coach, yet somehow we're the only ones who made a mistake in not doing so.

Should have probably gotten Heiar. He's the one who got us a lot of LE's talent and did very well with Wichita State. Not only that, from what I've been told, he really wanted the job because he knew how to win here.

As usual, we “decided to go in a different direction” when our current direction was up.

Word then was LE would have stayed for a modest raise. The AD at the time didn’t like him. So he hired the squeaky clean Tyndall instead of re-signing LE.

I had no problem getting rid of LE. Even in his NCAA year, with Flowers, Dodson, Horton, and Watson, we couldn’t draw a crowd. And a lot of that came back to LE and his polarizing effect on the fanbase. Not to mention, it took him 8 years to get there.

The problem was that committee members wanted absolutely no one associated with LE in any way, shape, or form.

Bro if you get to the NCAA tournament at Southern Miss, you've done something.

If you're all about how the crowds look, then why don't we just hire Donnie Donuts again?

There's no way to answer this post except to say "bless your heart".
