RE: **Official Tigers BB 2017-18 prediction thread**
I’m no expert and never claim to be, but here is my prediction...which is based off of seeing the players play mostly and mainly in the exhibition game, but a little at Memphis Madness too. I like our talent, especially Davenport, Brewton, Martin, and all three freshmen Nickleberry, Johnson, Enoh.
25-6 overall
13-5 conference, finishing 3rd or 4th
Losses to/at:
Louisville
at Cincinnati
at Temple
at Tulsa
at SMU
at UConn
I did swap a loss from at UCF to at Temple from my original prediction, I had a loss at UCF, I’ve switched it to a win. My thinking was maybe we wouldn’t lose two in a row right out of the gate in conference play and UCF did lose an important guard to injury.

Northern Kentucky will be another early test. They return all but one starter from a NCAA tourney team that hung with Kentucky in the first round. The Tigers better not overlook those guys. Come to think about it we better not overlook anybody.
19-12, maybe 20-11 .500 in AAC

16-15 (7-11 in AAC)
losses--
Alabama
@ UAB
Louisville
Cincy x 2
UCF x 2
@ Temple
@ Tulsa
Wichita
@ UConn
@ SMU
Houston
a crazy conf loss @ USF, Tulane, or ECU
+ 1 of the buy games to some scrub team like NKU or Albany
1st round conf tournament loss although maybe not as bad as last years thumping by UCF
Attendance average -5500 (the school will inflate the #s)

The final score says so, but it was a 14 point game at the half and UKy led by as much as 19 in the second before NKU got it within single digits with 30 seconds left in the game.
They finished 3rd in their conference last year. Lost to Illinois, APSU, and to West Virginia by 31.
I guess, of all the buy games, Albany is the one who might actually be the best. Although they were only 10-6 in conference and lost to Cinci by 23 and SMU by 18.

I think we will have a 15-17 overall record and finish 8th or lower in the AAC.

You're gonna have to list those games because that (no offense) doesn't really make much sense.
Memphis gets six games vs. the putrid combo of Tulane, ECU, and USF and has at least nine OOC home games vs. tomato cans.
That's 13 to 15 wins without even making an effort.

What guard did UCF lose to injury? I tried researching it but didn’t see who it is. Was the guard a starting guard? I may want to change my prediction. Thanks.

I’ll take a stab at it even though I don’t keep up with it anymore..
Let’s see the schedule is pretty weak!
The AAC isn’t very good!
19-12

20-11
10-8
Davenport is the go to guy, Brewton follows. Nickelberry has the most upside and Victor Enoh shows major promise.

Do you know if he was projected to start?

18 wins most likely, 19 is probably the most regular season, and under 17 would be surprisingly bad...

I do not have confidence we will beat all the “tomato cans” because our profile resembles a tomato can.
