New Orleans is best for the fans most likely, but will have the worst opponent. Also, since it’s the first weekend of bowl season, we won’t get as much extra practice time. I’m holding out for Armed Forces or Frisco Bowl so I can swing up I-35 on my way home for the holidays. The Boca/St Pete Bowls would also be a better opponent, but will likely draw less Blazers. I’d also be down for Shreveport (or Bham for that matter) if it’s a P5 opponent.

I like the idea of continuing to win and sneaking in a bigger bowl. New Orleans would be perfect and Bahamas would be great for the players. Yesterday I said on Twitter it should be all about the players but the more I thought the more I think the loyal supporters really deserve this too this year.

I saw the New Orleans Bowl, New Mexico Bowl, and Boca Raton Bowl social media pages congratulating UAB on being bowl eligible yesterday. Don't know if that provides any indication of anything or not.

The upside to that is we'd be more likely to gain another program first - a bowl win.

Bahamas - you need an active passport and trip includes exposure to the Zika virus.

After the conference championship games I think. So Dec 3rd/4th.

In the past years, the Bowl Game Selection show on ESPN has been on the Sunday afternoon or evening following the various conference Championship games on Saturday.

We will know which bowl we are going to once Fess allows us to go to that particular bowl.

I hope its not Bajamas or Hulaland
