I think TripleA is on to something here...

After looking at the new AP Poll, it is obvious that the pond is too big for the G4. It may be more fun for their programs if they created a separate G4 poll and this could also be a precursor to the new separate G4 playoff that is probably coming down the road.


Ultimately I see the G4 creating a playoff with the FCS. They could probably bring in some HBCU bands for halftime shows and have it in a nice place and with decent attendance. Maybe get the game in primetime on ESPNU?

Excellent idea. I really think it'd do wonders for the G4.

Might get them a few more thousand on their TV deals.

They could really do it up big too...jugglers, fire breathers, lion tamers, etc.

Actually not a bad idea. Nobody really wants to watch G4 games, but if it was in the offseason and a G4 playoff it might work. Bad football is better than no football, right?

When the G4 move their season to the fall, they'll obviously need their own Top 25. Actually they should do Top 24 to differentiate.
