RE: SPATTER CHATTER Thread
just watched UR press conference today.

Lauletta mentioning the possibility, that just like the game in 2015, that the spiders offense may have the opportunity to put up 700 yards offense, 300 rushing / 400 passing if things come together. Interesting speculation.

Lauletta is last couple of minutes.

Unfortunately for Lauletta JMU now has a defense that actually defenses. Unlike 2015. If he is thinking that he is going to duplicate 2015 he is either hanging out in some parallel universe or has not been watching JMU film for 2017.

Go Dukes!!

LOL - hopefully they were watching that 2015 game tape again to “prepare” 01-wingedeagle

It’s gonna be fun watching him eat the turf on Saturday.

Huesman minimized a question in the presser about crowd noise. He seemed to think "oh it won't be that big of a deal" and said they wouldn't do anyhting special to prepare for it. LOL.

Lauletta better be more worried about surviving against our D-Line...

You know, these guys...

...and, I have it on good record that Houston & Trott have not fed these guys all week and they are hungry. Those with kids might want to hide their eyes at times Saturday as this may get ugly.

first of all, that is absolutely hilarious. I honestly can't believe he'd even come close to mentioning that.

second, I watched some of the 2015 game last night. I think it was in their first series, maybe their first play, was a run to the right. think it picked up about 10-12 yards. we were so unbelievably bad that it just made my jaw drop. today, that play would be a tackle for loss. we would NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER play even close to that bad. and that was just one play. the whole defense just looks confused and not super interested in tackling.

I would love to see the stadium packed and loud BEFORE the game starts. Set the stage right from the get-go.

RE: SPATTER CHATTER Thread
From back in July. Even though I root against RU, I root for Durden to do well. I'm would rather RU's offense do well against other teams, and their defense struggle (which is mostly the case now), than vice versa..
Offensive coordinator Jeff Durden, UR's fourth point man in four seasons, may push the pace

For at least this game, I hope Trott’s D crushes Durden’s O. Feels a bit odd saying that now. Can’t ever root for the ticks, but don’t like rooting against Durden.

Would like to see Durden land somewhere else, maybe with Mickey over at Coastal Carolina.

It’s also like they’re blocking out 2016 and acting like that game never happened in between. You know it’s been a while since a caa team beat us when they’re all having to go back two or three years to say, “it’ll be like 2013 guys, trust me.”

For those, like me, questioning the -19.5...

vs Nova: -15.5; Actual -22
@ W&M: -24.5; Actual -32

I can't find historical lines, but if anyone has the rest of the season I'd be interested to compare. Those were just the ones I could find on Twitter.

remember how many hits we got on Hoodie in 2011? that was really satisfying, but I expect this to be even more brutal. he may need assistance making it back to the locker room.
8 sacks of the Hoodie that day:

RE: SPATTER CHATTER Thread
I know we like making fun of the spatters, but please tell me they can’t be serious. This isn’t 2015. It’s not even 2016.
They are about to run into a brick wall and done even see it coming. For a guy that studies the game like they say Lauletta does, he must be watching the wrong tape.
And Huesman has never been to Bridgeforth and is already underplaying our home field advantage.
As if we didn’t need more motivation for this game they gave us a heaping moundful.
They are skipping with their pathetic little sweater vests right into a buzzsaw and are about to be shredded to pieces.
