I believe that's the order but they can choose who they want.

Better hope ULL doesn't make a bowl or they will be in New Orleans again. If they don't I think Troy goes just because we have a lot of history with good turn outs there.

Definitely think barring Cajuns or even warhawks getting to 6 nawlins will come down to Astate and Troy and the later will wind up in Mobile

As I recall, there is no formal order anymore. The conference works with the bowls to try to get as attractive a schedule as they can, including trying to get teams where they are likely to draw well.

That said, your list is as good as any based on experience.

Any chance Georgia State makes the New Orleans bowl if we beat App State and wins out with 8-3 record? I'd love to watch Panthers and Falcons at New Orleans during one trip.

New Orleans likes to take programs who they know will bring a large crowd. I have a Very hard time seeing GSU there even if u win out. stAte and Troy would bring larger crowds there and they know that.

Trust me if we made the N.O. bowl at 8-3 we'd bring a nice crowd. Atlanta and Nola have a "connection" that none of the other bowl sites have.

We weren't so bad in cure bowl. 18,500 attendance in Orlando against a team from California with understandably small crowd. Maybe students will go for booze and shenanigans.

I guess another trip to cure bowl is fine too. I haven't been to Universal in awhile

Maybe so. But looking at Troy and stAte who have a history of over 30k to bowls....
Plus home attendances of over 25k average

TV matters to bowls more than attendance

And Georgia State doesn't bring that either. NOLA will go to ULL (so dumb, so very, very dumb), Troy or Ark. State. ULM is not getting NOLA if eligible.

And, no ... Bowl directors care about attendance.

Hoping ULL doesn't get bowl eligible (sorry Cajuns lol)
