Reading this thread this morning, makes my coffee tastes even better.

North Texas has two conference games left, one against UTEP and the other against Rice. UNT just has to win one to get to the title game.

Add in a revenge rematch against Army, and this is going to be a fun ending to the regular season. I think one of the Florida schools will probably win the eastern division. Nothing against FIU, but I really hope FAU wins it. North Texas really wants a chance at redemption. I don't even care that we would have to go back to Boca.

A win is a win is a win. UNT pulled out a game that had pretty much everything on the line. Became bowl eligible, all but officially locked up the west (just need to beat either UTEP or Rice, but I would obviously prefer both). We still have a small chance of hosting the CCG. Need either FAU to lose 2 games, or we need FIU to beat FAU & then lose to UMass. Regardless, I’m just happy that this team has done so well this season. #GMG

FIU will only play UMass if we are not in the CCG, not sure that would help you with hosting. A two loss and East champs FAU maybe a better shot at UNT hosting.

UNT 5-1
FIU 4-1

But you still got to play eight of those games.
