I prefer Church to Swindle, although I do like Swindell. Bryan-not a fan but he out sells the others. Of course I'm old I guess, no idea who Luke Combs is.

As rough as this year has been, I won't be surprised with a loss. However, I did see some flashes of life on both sides of the ball last week. Hoping the team comes out fired up on Thursday and eeks out a win. I'm thinking like 28-27 nail biter.

Oh and App still sucks.

One does not simply beat App State in Boone in the middle of November. We've taken several teams up to Boone that were leagues better than the team we currently have and they got their @$$ handed to them. I think a pissed off App team pulls it together long enough to remind us why we are currently looking for a new coach.

48-17 App

Interesting matchup to watch is our true freshman center who was told he wasn’t worthy of a scholarship by GS last fall. He may be playing with a chip on his shoulder. From GS’s side I imagine Wertz who was told by App who wouldn’t be recruited as a QB won’t need much motivation either.

I think this game could be more interesting than people expect. Southern has been improving little by little every week since ending the Summer. Add in the fact that this is yet another rivalry game and the records kinda go out the window for the most part.

It is possible to be a Georgia State fan and pull for Georgia Southern when the opponent is App State.

We all should pull for fellow teams from Georgia. I wish Southern played us after 7-0 not 0-7

Georgia State is 4-1 in conference. They are a conference contender. Of course they want other contenders to lose. So do I.
