Did a hell of a job stopping the run in the second half...Tulsa is better than what their record indicates...when our d stepped up made them look way out classed on the field which shows how good we can be.

RE: 46
Since a brutal start in the UCONN game, 19 quarters have been played. Only 1 quarter resulted in multiple TD's for our opponent. That was against a Houston team averaging 440 yards of offense per game. If Pollard doesn't run the kick back, Houston does not get the quick opportunity to score its 2nd touchdown of that quarter.

We are very tough to beat giving up 28 points a game.

For comparison's sake - In the first 17 quarters of the season, 6 of them resulted in multiple TD's for our opponent. This includes games against Southern Illinois, Louisiana Monroe, and the first quarter of UCONN game. That definitely was the turning point.

Think it may have been Avery who got chewed for crashing down on the dive and leaving contain position allowing the QB to get a rushing TD. After that the defense got a lot better.
