Some say that depends on attendance at the next home games.
So we gotta get our butts to the Liberty Bowl.

I'm coming down for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. When is the North KY game that weekend?

Then, pay attention to what is really going on. We aren't Duke or Kentucky or Kansas or UNC. In other words, we probably can't blatantly cheat and get away with it. We have to be more careful.
Learn from history. Bartow built a team and added Kenon. Kirk got a star and then built a team, it took 4 years and you don't have 4 years with a star these days. Finch built a team every year and added Hardaway. Calipari built a team and added Rose.
You only have a year or 2 with a star these days. You have to build a team first. A derrick Rose this year would be a waste, look at LSU with Simmons a couple of years ago.
I think Tubby is building a team and hoping a star comes through town in the next couple of years. If a high school Lee or Hardaway appears in town in the next couple of years, I think Tubby will have a winning team ready to go.
I truly believe just from Madness and LeMoyne Owen, we'll be as good as we've been the last 3 years and not doing it on the backs of some Lawson or Nichols deal. If I was Lomax or Harris, I'd sign up now. In the next couple of years, they'll be heroes. I also think Markel made a foolish decision and should never have listened to whichever Lawson tricked him into it. He missed out on a fun year and all the benefits that Jeremiah will get for sticking it out. No one in Oxford will even remember his name.
Only way we will be in final 4 in next 4 years is to buy a ticket.
Still bitter your favorite was pushed out I see.
The OP was a very delusional post. Cal did not build a foundation of 150-250 ranked players. The foundation players he had were top 100s player in the 4 star area and then he supplemented them with a number of 5 star players to get over the top.
The top 8 players on that Rose lead team including Rose himself consisted of 2 Five star player and 6 Four star players with the lowest of the 8 ranked 79th.
To even insinuate that Orlando has a core of players anywhere near that level is beyond asinine. His highest ranked high school recruit is 159th.
There is a reason why Orlando has NEVER finished above 500 in conference or higher than 5th in conference since leaving UK.
Who was the second five star?
The bulldog was the number 1 player in the country in 8th grade.

That was a great team. A once in a fill-in-the-blank team at Memphis. But dude is giving an inaccurate picture.
First, there was "only" one 5-star, not two. Next, the second highest rated player on that team was Jeff Robinson. But he was certainly not part of the "top 8".
The starters were:
Rose #5
Anderson #41
CDR #51
Dozier #79
Joey #220
The rest of the rotation was:
Taggart unranked
Allen #215
Kemp #44
Mack #63
No, we're not currently close to that. But take Rose out of the equation (not that I want to), and it's not so far-fetched. After him, the gap is 4 guys ranked 41-79. Doable IF we land our targets this year, and get some momentum.
Then you gotta figure out a way to land the prize 5-star to "get over the top".

Taggart was ranked by Rivals. But unranked on 247 Composite, best I can tell.
